Summary: Great price for people travelling on a budget. You can tell cleanliness is a priorty in the rooms and shared kitchen area. Staff are friendly. There is a weekly schedule of which floor will get fully serviced. On other days, cleaning staff will ask if you need anything, i.e. clean towels, coffee, tea, etc. We really enjoyed having a fridge in the room and a coffee and tea service. Shared Kitchen is very well stocked with equipment for being able to cook and bake. Its quite spacious compared to other hostels. We had one twin bed that was very worn down and uncomfortable to sleep on but other was fine. We felt safe walling into the CBD. Walking the other way to Karangahape Rd had a lot of homeless and rough looking people. Would not feel safe walking there at night.
